PUC concludes a public hearing on GTT's request to review terms of Order 2 of 2017 within 6 days.

The PUC concluded a public hearing on an application made by the Guyana Telepone & Telegraph Co. Ltd (GTT+) to review the terms of the PUC's Order 2 of 2017, pursuant to section 77 of the Public Utilities Commission Act, Act 10 of 1999, within 6 days in 2 sessions.

The issues were:

 1. The required installation of 1000 landlines per quarter.
 2. The time frame in which GTT+ is required to remedy its fault repairs.

The hearing commenced on September 7, 2017 and concluded on September 13, 2017, at the PUC's Conference Room on New Garden Street. The public was invited to participate.
